Born and raised in Skagit County, Jeremy is a loving native of our local lands and the beauties that crest the horizon. Having an exceptional affinity for trees, Jeremy has developed a passion for milling logs as they've come to him. What started as a hobby has slowly turned into a small business as the slabs begin to dry.

Whether a tree becomes a hazard to a home or encounters an unseasonably strong wind, Jeremy generally jumps on the opportunity to explore the grain encased within.

Each log is locally harvested and holds it's own unique telling of time. The work Jeremy does for Starbird Woods has become a way of honoring this rich history, through the intricate grain of a live edge slab or the functional beauty of a piece of furniture.
